本次大赛的分赛区报名海选已于11月5日截止。长岛分赛区的初赛于2019年11月17日（周日）下午1:30至4:30在长岛华夏中文学校举行。晋级选手参加了2019年12月底的决赛，大赛组委会还在决赛前组织了一次为期一天的集中培训。决赛及颁奖典礼在哥伦比亚大学举行。

参赛报名后，主办方在48小时内（工作日内）通过Email发送了参赛指南和指定诗词篇目给参赛选手的家长。报名后因个人原因无法参加比赛的选手，其报名费未予退还。但经主办单位同意后，可以将报名费作为下一年比赛的Credit。

比赛形式包括两个环节：第一环节是参赛选手选择主办方指定的四首古诗词之一进行中文诗歌朗诵；第二环节是才艺展示，包括中文演讲、中文歌曲演唱、乐器表演等。比赛的评委由哥伦比亚大学中文教学部、联合国前中文组组长及哥伦比亚大学双语教学专家组成。评分标准包括演唱技巧、中文水平和演绎水平，其中技巧占20%，音准和吐字各占25%，节奏占25%，音色占20%，仪表服装占10%。

比赛共设18个奖项，按年龄组评出一等奖一名、二等奖两名、三等奖三名。此外，还颁发了各类特别奖，并选出了纽约首位“小金话筒杯”少儿中文才艺大赛的推广大使和形象代言人，邀请其参加明年的大赛。

参赛者的姓名、形象（照片、视频图像）、声明（陈述）均可能被拍摄并在现有或未来出现的媒体中播出。所有参赛资料的使用权归大赛组委会所有，参赛者同意大赛组委会使用参赛过程的部分或全部内容。参赛者在整个比赛过程中需服从组委会的安排与管理，未经允许不得中途退出比赛。

参赛者理解并同意所有的条款，包括版权等内容。大赛组委会拥有赛事全程的一切内容的完整版权及肖像权，并可在全国任何地区的媒体上进行商业或非商业目的的保存、使用、发表和发布，亦可授权第三方使用。

参赛者明白并同意晋级选择权完全归大赛组委会、分赛区主办方及评委所有，落选者无权提出任何上诉。参赛者亦无权阻止或中断大赛的发展、制作及宣传。

参赛者需维护大赛形象，保证比赛顺利进行，爱护公物及设备，与其他选手和谐相处，公平竞赛。因参赛者个人原因导致的物品损坏或人身损害，将由参赛者及其法定监护人承担赔偿责任。

主办方保留对本次活动的最终解释权，并可随时修订参赛条款及赛制。参赛者提交报名表即表示完全理解并同意以上条款，任何违约行为将直接交由主办方所在地人民法院处理，并赔偿主办方的一切经济损失。

本次大赛的最终解释权归纽约“小金话筒杯”少儿中文才艺大赛组委会所有。


The registration for the sub-divisions of this competition closed on November 5. The preliminary round of the Long Island sub-division was held at the Long Island Huaxia Chinese School from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. on November 17, 2019 (Sunday). The qualified contestants participated in the finals at the end of December 2019. The organizing committee of the competition also organized a one-day intensive training before the finals. The finals and awards ceremony were held at Columbia University.

After the registration, the organizer sent the competition guide and designated poems to the parents of the contestants via email within 48 hours (within working days). The registration fee of the contestants who are unable to participate in the competition due to personal reasons after registration will not be refunded. However, with the consent of the organizer, the registration fee can be used as a credit for the next year's competition.

The competition format includes two parts: the first part is that the contestants choose one of the four ancient poems designated by the organizer to recite Chinese poetry the second part is a talent show, including Chinese speeches, Chinese song singing, instrument performances, etc. The judges of the competition are composed of the Chinese Teaching Department of Columbia University, the former head of the Chinese group of the United Nations, and bilingual teaching experts of Columbia University. The scoring criteria include singing skills, Chinese proficiency and interpretation level, of which skills account for 20%, pitch and pronunciation each account for 25%, rhythm accounts for 25%, timbre accounts for 20%, and appearance and clothing account for 10%.

There are 18 awards in the competition, and one first prize, two second prizes, and three third prizes are awarded according to age groups. In addition, various special awards are also awarded, and the first promotion ambassador and image spokesperson of the "Little Golden Microphone Cup" Children's Chinese Talent Competition in New York are selected and invited to participate in next year's competition.

The names, images (photos, video images), and statements (statements) of the contestants may be filmed and broadcast in existing or future media. The right to use all the entry materials belongs to the competition organizing committee, and the contestants agree that the competition organizing committee will use part or all of the content of the competition process. Contestants must obey the arrangements and management of the organizing committee throughout the competition and may not withdraw from the competition without permission.

Contestants understand and agree to all terms, including copyright and other content. The organizing committee of the competition has the complete copyright and portrait rights of all contents of the entire competition, and can save, use, publish and release them for commercial or non-commercial purposes in any media in the country, and can also authorize third parties to use them.

Participants understand and agree that the right to advance is entirely owned by the organizing committee of the competition, the organizers of the sub-competition area and the judges, and the losers have no right to appeal. Participants also have no right to prevent or interrupt the development, production and publicity of the competition.

Participants must maintain the image of the competition, ensure the smooth progress of the competition, take care of public property and equipment, get along harmoniously with other contestants, and compete fairly. The damage to the property or personal injury caused by the personal reasons of the contestants will be borne by the contestants and their legal guardians.

The organizer reserves the final right of interpretation of this event and may revise the terms and conditions of the competition at any time. By submitting the registration form, the contestants fully understand and agree to the above terms. Any breach of contract will be directly handled by the People's Court of the organizer's location, and the organizer will compensate for all economic losses.

The final right of interpretation of this competition belongs to the organizing committee of the New York "Little Golden Microphone Cup" Children's Chinese Talent Competition.
